Using Books as Tools
Thursday, May 24 at 7pm, Farwell T. Brown Auditorium
Come learn more about using books as an effective tool for teaching life lessons and talking with children about sensitive topics. This free workshop will be facilitated by Amy Popillion, Ph.D., CFLE, and senior lecturer in Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State University, and Randie Camp, graduate student in Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education. There will be a storytime available for participants’ children during the program.
Spanish Bilingual Storytime
Saturday, May 26 at 11am, Davidson Storytelling Room
Join us for a bilingual storytime featuring stories in English and Spanish.
