An 1868 map of Agricultural College and Model Farm, taken from an early catalog and biennial report, shows only three buildings--the "college," the Model Farm (i.e., the Farm House), and a barn--on the land which would become part of the main campus of Iowa State College (University). The map appears on p.60 of Mary Atherly's "Farm House; College Farm to University Museum," published by Iowa State University Press in 1995.
