Based on a newspaper photograph as shown in ID22.107.5, Ames artist Marjorie Muench drew this likeness of Rev. Simeon Gilbert in 1992. Rev. Gilbert was the second pastor of the Ames's first church. He served the Congregational Church from 1868 to 1870.
