Dining room in east part of Margaret Hall (built in 1895, burned in 1938). Margaret Hall stood where LeBaron Hall is located today (1991). This was main dining facility on campus at the time and accommodated both men and women. Dining hall was also site for women's basketball (women's intercollegiate basketball predated men's at Iowa State. Also, parties and dances were held in this room. (See also: 37.189.2)
