Louis Hermann Pammel (1862-1931)was a professor of botany at Iowa State College from 1889 through 1927. He is here pictured with his wife and six daughters and one son (Harold Pammel) on the lawn of their home at 804 Duff Avenue in Ames around the turn of the twentieth century.
