A 1903 view of the site where "Old Main" stood before it burned in August, 1902. Site here is shown cleared for the start of construction of Beardshear Hall. Note the Dinkey's station that later became the Hub. Material for the new building was brought by freight cars like the one shown here. Morrill Hall can be seen at the right. Engineering Hall (later Marston Hall), constructed in 1900/01 is shown center right with the Marston Water Tower behind. (See also: 144.793.1-2)
