Caroline and Walter I. Fowle were married on July 19, 1905. Walter Fowle was the minister of First Baptist Church in Ames from 1904 to 1911. The second building of First Baptist was completed in 1910 and dedicated in 1911. Caroline and Walter were the first to live in the parsonage which was built in 1906 or 1907. This photograph is from the family album of Margaret Mitchell Brown, the step-grandmother of Farwell T. Brown.
