The bridge over the Squaw Creek on the north side of the Iowa State College campus. Stange Road (not yet built) will later be about a quarter mile to the right (east) of the bridge in this photograph. This bridge was built before 1908 when the concrete bridge was constructed in its place; and it was used mainly by the college and area farmers to move farm equipment from one side of the creek to the other. On the left side of this photograph is the area which Iowa State University's golf course (Veenker Memorial Golf Course) would later occupy.
