Tug-of-war between freshman and sophomore classes at ISC in 1909 or 1910. Briley's Pond was site for this event for many years. Looking southwesterly, behind farthest line of people is Oakland Avenue today (1991). Pond, which no longer exists, was formed after removal of clay to make bricks for campus buildings -- primarily the Farm House.
