Built in 1902 to replace a building which was burned on October 25, 1901. Built of brick, it was 100 feet long east to west, by 50 feet wide, with two floors and a loft. It faced south and had an 18 foot diameter conical-roofed silo on the northwest corner. On Oct. 6, 1922, this building was struck by lightining and completely destroyed by fire. It is located on what is now (1991) Wallace Road by the south wing of the Physical Plant.(See also:31.155.4)
