Looking south up Welch Street in Campustown from a point where Friley Dormitory is now (1991) located. Brick Champlin building, new in 1909, is seen on southeast corner of Welch and Lincoln Way. At top of Welch hill on right is old Beta Fraternity house (torn down in 1977), a two-story frame structure with white pillars infront. Streets are not paved here. Barn on left is Champlin's.
