Dr. William "Will" Clark Tilden (1870-1941), president of the Stanwood School Board, is shown in the center in the back. Dr. Tilden, son of Frederick Clark Tilden and a second cousin of Farwell Brown, grew up in Ames and practiced medicine in Stanwood for many years.
