Part of a panoramic photograph taken of students posing in front of the new Gilbert Consolidated School on November 11, 1920. The photograph was taken by the Habard-Showers Co. of Des Moines, Iowa. There are three other photographs showing the part of the panorama which includes the children (53.263B.1, 53.263B.2, and 89.469.2-3). The last of these shows the original Gilbert Independent School which was still on the grounds of the new school, built in 1918 when Gilbert consolidated with surrounding communities to create this larger school district.
