Des Moines River at Boy Scout Camp operated by Ames Boy Scout organization. Farwell T. Brown was at the camp this summer (1923). Camp Kooroq was located upstream from the Lincoln Highway Bridge, about two miles north. E. G. Stowell was the executive scout leader.
