Kampus Kourt as it appeared in the mid- to late-1940s. Located at the west edge of Ames on the northwest corner of Lincoln Way and Franklin Avenue, it was operated by H. D. Freel from about 1951 until the late 1960s during which time about ten double units were added. The motel was later known as "Campus Court." When this picture was taken, the units were double, making about twelve rental units. (See also: 221.1264.1)
