The Lincoln Lodge, one of the first motels in Ames, was located at 202 E. Lincoln Way on the south side of the street, on the east side of Ames, about two blocks east of the Duff Avenue intersection. It opened in the early 1950s and was operated by Carl and Marceda Tow.
