Join author Amy Kolen for a discussion of her new memoir: Inside Voices: A Prison Choir, My Mother, and Me.
Amy’s essays have been published in several anthologies, including Best American Essays, 2002, and have appeared in a variety of publications. Amy was born in Ames and graduated from Ames High School in 1969. Holding an MFA in Nonfiction Writing from the University of Iowa, she sang with the Oakdale Community Choir for four years.
