Ames Public Library Friends Foundation and Alluvial Brewing are teaming up to provide a fun-filled night of trivia to support programs, materials and special events at Ames Public Library!  

Along with the brain-teasing rounds of trivia, Alluvial will be serving up a special library-themed brew called Library Lager, a version of their fantastic Gilbert Gold. A portion of each sale will be donated to APLFF.  

Alluvial's regular trivia hosts, Jordan Baumgardner, Brady Hubbard, and Cody Simons are donating their time and expertise to the event. They're coming up with their regular tricky trivia questions as well as some literary themed trivia.  

Raffle tickets will also be sold at $5 each, or $20 for five tickets. (Cash only please, sold the night of the event.) You'll have a chance to win one of four prizes: 

  • a Kindle Fire HD 10 plus a Kindle Fire 7 Kids, 
  • a $125 gift card from Provisions plus a pair of Stephens Auditorium show tickets,
  •  a $100 gift card from Aunt Maude's plus a pair of Stephens Auditorium show tickets, or 
  • a $100 gift card from Bar La Tosca plus a pair of Stephens Auditorium show tickets 

Registration is $60 for teams of any number up to six people.
