All ages are welcome to attend Des Moines Metro Opera's performance of Sid the Serpent Who Wanted to Sing, the story of a serpent in the circus who longs for more than just slithering in and out of his basket—he wants to sing! His efforts to find a singing style suitable to a snake are hilarious.


Presented in partnership with Ames Public Library and the Ames Chapter of the Des Moines Metro Opera Guild. Supported in part through local option tax funds provided by the City of Ames through the Commission on the Arts.
