Visit the Library to see paintings by Jill Pelto, a climate artist whose work focuses on communicating human-environment connections. She incorporates scientific data into watercolor paintings to share the emotion behind these stories of change, whether overwhelming or hopeful.

The Library will host a virtual conversation with Jill Pelto, The Art of Science, on April 15. See featured artwork by Jill Pelto on the cover of this month's issue of Page One.

Presented in partnership with Ames Public Library and Iowa State University Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication as part of Iowa State University’s First Amendment Days. Supported by the Ames Public Library Friends Foundation.
