Learn about the power of memoir as a means to understanding US Latina/o/x life stories. As an American genre, this burgeoning literary tour de force helps us understand the trials and triumphs of a diverse and important part of US history.
Dr. Lucía Suárez will share how writing and reading memoirs impacted her hands-on, experiential class “Latina/o/x Life Stories: Memoirs and Oral Histories.”
