In today’s increasingly digital world, staying safe online has never been more important. Dr. Doug Jacobson, Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering, ISU, will explore common cybersecurity risks and offer tips to protect personal information, avoid online scams, and ensure privacy across various devices.
You’ll learn about phishing attacks, social engineering, secure password management, and the importance of multi-factor authentication. The discussion will also include how emerging threats, including AI-powered cyberattacks, target everyday users, and provide guidance on safeguarding against them.
Presented in partnership with Ames Public Library and League of Women Voters of Ames & Story County.
