Purpose of Meeting
Iowa KidSight is a joint project of the Lions Clubs of Iowa and the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology. In FY23 we provided free vision screenings for over 46,000 children ages 6 months through kindergarten across the state of Iowa. We do this by training Lion Club volunteers. Last year we had 407 volunteers across the state. This is our annual leadership meeting for the Lions Club volunteers who hold leadership position. Because our organization has a statewide impact and volunteers from across the state, the location of this meeting changes each year. Last year's meeting was held in the Iowa City area.
