Performers: Elizabeth Zimmerman and Mark Haugen
Ames Public Library will host free music events as part of this year’s Maximum Ames Music Festival.
Elizabeth Zimmerman is constantly inspired by art, film, nature, and people and her musical influences/styles range from folk to jazz to soul and blues. She is a long-time resident of Ames and plans to release her 6th album, Roots of Rhythm, later this year.
Mark Haugen is a piano based singer-songwriter from Lincoln, Nebraska who writes pop songs with teeth. His honest lyrics and catchy melodies take the listener on a journey through the ups and downs of life in the 21st century. Expect to hear songs about breakups, bookstores, and everything in between.
Provided in partnership with Ames Public Library and Maximum Ames Music Festival with support from the Ames Public Library Friends Foundation.
