The local Mirage Dance Troupe will present a New Year's Hafla (“hahf-la”), an informal dance performance closing with an open group dance. They will perform a mixture of traditional and modern (fusion) dances and educate the audience about the beauty of one of the oldest surviving forms of dance.
The dancers will perform for 60-80 minutes followed by a short intermission, a movement lesson for interested folks, and an optional group dance. Additional educational resources and light refreshments will be provided.
