Come to Ames Public Library for a free performance of “Resistance: A Play in Two Acts.”

When a new herbicide is marketed that utilizes a novel chemical pathway, many farmers in this small Iowa town are relieved to have a new tool for combatting herbicide-tolerant weeds. But when one farmer questions the merits of the new chemical, a group of neighbors must grapple with their differing perceptions of risk—and even with each other—as they figure out how to move forward together.

This will be the final performance in EcoTheatre Lab’s Iowa tour. Don't miss it!

Presented in partnership with Ames Public Library and EcoTheatre Lab. Support is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Iowa Arts Council, which exists within the Iowa Economic Development Authority; the Discover Ames Community Grant Program; and Ames Public Library Friends Foundation.
