Join us for an informal, informative, and fun afternoon of world friendship!
Come hear a presentation about the experiences of Lori Woodcock when she traveled to Tanzania last summer.
There will also be stations to enjoy food and learn about places around the world.
Lori Woodcock lives in Ames with her husband and two children. In June 2019, she had the opportunity to travel to Tanzania through her church. In a unique partnership, Bethesda Lutheran Church and St. Andrews Lutheran Church joined forces and took 7 high school youth on a trip to visit their sister congregations located in Eastern Tanzania.
Provided in partnership with Ames Public Library, the Friendship Force of Central Iowa, and the Iowa State University Women's Club Culture Sharing Group.
Ames Public Library connects you to the world of ideas through diverse and inclusive resources and programs. We welcome proposals via our website for programs at www.amespubliclibrary.org/programproposal and exhibits at https://www.amespubliclibrary.org/exhibit-proposal.
