I don’t know about you, but every year around this time my mind mentally freezes. The holiday season is coming and all of a sudden, I have no idea what my nieces or nephews are into right now, and do my in-laws really need/want another gift card? Gift giving around the holidays is our chance to show those we love how much we appreciate them and value them in our lives, but that also comes with the stress of trying to please everyone.

Although it might not be the first place that comes to mind, your local library is an amazing resource when those gift-giving panic sessions start. Our staff is reading and preparing all year for the chance to talk to you about all kinds of book recommendations. Need something for a new parent? We can suggest a bunch of great books for both them and their little one. How about your best friend who already has everything? We’ve got ideas for you!
