Staff from ACCESS (Assault Care Center Extending Shelter & Support) will be available in the Library to provide services that enhance safety and empower survivors of domestic abuse or sexual assault. If you are dealing with sexual harassment, domestic abuse (emotional or physical), or sexual abuse, we will hold a confidential space where you can get emotional support and tips for safety planning.

We are also available to help with reporting to law enforcement, Civil No-Contact Orders, and more.

You can find ACCESS at Ames Public Library:

  • 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 3-5pm on the second floor
