Preparing for the 1950 Census

The 1950 US census is scheduled for release on April 1, 2022. Learn why genealogists use census records for genealogical research and what to expect in the 1950 census. Since the census will not have a name index upon release, researchers will need to use Enumeration Districts to search the records. An explanation will be given on how to locate and identify Enumeration Districts for searching.
