Program Details
Join us for two writing workshops during the month of November, the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).
The first session, Saturday November 2, will focus on starting the writing process. Learn how to begin and organize ideas, how to set deadlines when working on a large piece, and ways to respond to writer's block.
The second session, Saturday November 23, will focus on editing strategies. Come learn about working with global concerns (content and organization), working with local concerns (grammar and sentence structure), and editing strategies (peer review, reading aloud, etc.).
All ages are welcome.
Ames Public Library connects you to the world of ideas through diverse and inclusive resources and programs. We welcome proposals via our website for programs at www.amespubliclibrary.org/programproposal and exhibits at https://www.amespubliclibrary.org/exhibit-proposal.
