Program Details
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a nonprofit event that encourages teens and adults to tackle the challenge: write 50,000 words of a novel during the thirty days of November. Launched in 1999, NaNoWriMo inspires its 300,000+ participants with pep talks, a huge and supportive online community, and a host of web-based writing tools.
Join us at the Ames Public Library for our weekly write-ins, where participants can gather to support each other and work on their novels.
Ames Public Library connects you to the world of ideas through diverse and inclusive resources and programs. We welcome proposals via our website for programs at www.amespubliclibrary.org/programproposal and exhibits at https://www.amespubliclibrary.org/exhibit-proposal.
