Topic: DNA Explained

Speaker: Theresa Liewer, Past-President of the Iowa Genealogical Society

Theresa will address the basics of DNA testing and how to interpret the results. She has tested with multiple companies, which has the added benefit of letting her find even more distant cousins through DNA. She has convinced multiple family members to test also, all in the name of research. Theresa has been doing genealogy for over 45 years and she is excited to be able to talk about this newest tool in our tool box.
