Topic — Researching the History of Houses and Their Inhabitants
Speaker — Lori Osmus Kappmeyer
How can someone find out about the people who have lived in a particular house, or where certain people lived during their lives? The presenter will describe her experience in doing this for her 2000 ISU master's thesis on Queen Anne style houses in Boone, Iowa, and for her research on family history in Joliet, Illinois.
